SLA GROUP LLC was officially registered in 2017 in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From that year, the company became the sole official distributor in Azerbaijan of CARL Bechem GmbH products — a German company operating since 1834, specializing in specialty industrial lubricants and water-miscible coolants for heavy and light industrial sectors.
In 2018, SLA GROUP LLC opened its brand store under the name "Truck Aptek" in Baku. By the end of that year, the company began officially importing Exxon Mobil products into Azerbaijan. In 2018–2019, SLA GROUP LLC also organized the sales of Bridgestone and Continental tires in Azerbaijan.
From 2019, SLA GROUP LLC became the official distributor in Azerbaijan of FUCHS premium-segment lubricants from Germany, as well as CASSIDA food-grade lubricants under the FUCHS brand. In the same year, SLA GROUP LLC began importing certain products from Shell's marine oils and aviation division.
From 2022, SLA GROUP LLC added the ROCOL brand to its product portfolio and received an official distributorship certificate from ITW Corporation. The company also began cooperation with Germany's PPG (Whitford) company for Xylan coating materials, completing its first orders for the oil & gas and food industry sectors.
